Today we are proud to announce that doctorly has been chosen as a winner of the the KBV (Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung) Future Practices competition.
Back in March 2018, doctorly took part in the inaugural KV-telematik digital innovation pitching competition. We were pleased that our company vision resonated with the judges and we were announced as the winner (read about it here).
We were then invited to take part in the KBV Future Practices application process, with the final list of winners to be announced in September 2018.
doctorly, along with 9 other health-tech companies, attended the KBV Future Practices event yesterday (26/09/18), hosted at the KBV head office in Berlin.
What is important to be selected for the Future Practices program is that the company is able to demonstrate that they are able to do one, or more, of the following;
- Improve the interaction between practice & patient
- Improve the interaction between practice & practice
- Improve the interaction between practice & insurance
- Improve the interaction between practice & hospitals
- Improve the life of the patient
- Improve the life within the practice
At doctorly, we aim to achieve ALL of the above.
With our digital first, cloud powered, holistic practice management platform for the practices, coupled with our fully integrated health app for the patients, we will add value to every stakeholder within the health industry in Germany.
Each company presented for 10 minutes and answered questions from the audience, which was made of of doctors, senior German health industry professionals and journalists.
The awards were handed out by Dr. Thomas Kriedel (Member of the board, KBV), Dr. Andreas Gassen (Director of the board, KBV), and Dr. Florian Fuhrmann (Managing Director, KV Telematik).
It is a great feeling to have the support of the governmental health regulators of Germany in making it easier for doctors and patients to get access to modern, quality, digital softwares and tools.
We are excited and energised to take part in the Future Practice program from 2019 onwards and, alongside the other 9 winners (Aaron Ai, Ada health, Amiko, Klindo, Magnosco, Red, Tomes, XpertEye, Zollsoft), ready to start making meaningful, innovative change for the lives of doctors and patients in Germany via excellent digital products.
The doctorly team.
